With Phased Array Ultrasonic (PAUT) method, 3-dimensional control of the inspection material is made and it provides visual evaluation. Complex parts such as metallic materials, welds, turbine parts, railway components, aircraft parts are inspected with high precision.
TOFD (Time Of Flight Diffraction) examination is performed by placing the transmitter and receiver probe on the material to be inspected. The reflections and movement of the sound in the material are observed. Flaw detection and sizing is done with high precision.With this method, the flaws are mapped.
